We know that Anna married W.T. Morton who passed away in 1912. There is no indication that she was buried with Mr. Morton in Greenwood Cemetery (as of May 1996). Mr. Morton's marker is the largest in the R. H. Dugan plot in Greenwood Cemetery. In 1905, in her mother's obituary, the Mortons were listed as living in Oakland, CA. [3-25-00] New Information: Had been a resident of Oakland, CA for 15 years when her husband, Wm T. Morton died unexpectedly while visiting in Ohio in 1912. Listed in the City directory until at least 1935. Was President of the Catholic Ladies' Aid Society, St. Mary's, 707 Jefferson St. Oakland CA 94607 (Tel: 510-444-8627). In 1912 was reportedly living at 295 Birch Court, Claremont district. In 1914, listed at 5834 Birch Ct.

Obit. Morgan Co. Herald, March 1999 Mr. Whitehouse worked at Taylor Woodcraft in malta for over 16 years retiring in 1981. He also operated his parents' dairy farm in Malta for over 30 years. He was an outstanding M-M High School athlete and served as captain of the undefeated M-M High school footbal team. He as a member of Ohio Farmers, Ohio Holstein Assoc. and the american jersey Cattle club. He was an avid sportsman and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member and past presiden ot the Morgan county Beagle Club. he loved to be with his faithful sheltie dog, Nick, for the last eight years. (Lewis was living at the Spring Meade Health Center, Tipp City, near son John, when he died) (List of survivors ... see database) The following grandchildren could not be placed under the appropriate son: Annette Drake of Brownsville, Beverly Gessel of Malta, Melissa Niceswanger of Stockport. Great Grandchildren: Amy and Eric Taylor of Brownsville, Lee Gessel of Malta.
