History of Morgan Co Ohio 1980 Was a seafarer before coming to Wiseman's Bottom, Union Twp, Washington, Co Oh in 1811 or 1812 and commenced farming adjacent his brother Wing Devol and uncle Capt. Jonathan Devol Jr. (present-day Devola). He and his family removed to Meigs Creek, Bristol Twp, Morgan Co. in April 1822.
