What About Bob?
I think this is me taken around August 1995 by an unknown Photographer and posted on the Web!
I was born and raised in
I like to think of myself as a producer of Fine-Art Black & White Prints (a few color as well) and truly strive for the final image on the wall to be of high quality rather than a producer of images to be bought and sold en masse. I have sold prints to private collectors, been in several local shows and won awards for my images!
Influences on me from Famous Photographers in random order:
Michael Kenna... I love his print quality, his subject matter, his technical expertise and the emotional impact!
Ansel Adams... what can I say? Quality,
style, etc... I even had a change to visit his darkroom (to bad it was
dark).Virginia
Edward Weston...someone once said my stuff reminded them of Weston; I took the compliment and ran with it.
Morley Baer...I enjoy the coastline scenes and the quality of light presented
Minor White...even if I like mystery in photos, not philosophy
John Sexton... The only workshop I have taken
was at his house in
