Australian F3A champion Peter Goldsmith designed the Carrera. In 2000, RCME took the Carrera through some designed changes to take advantage of the latest FAI rules. The new version of the Carrera is now called the "Carrera-X". We at RC Model Enterprises use the latest technology in manufacturing our kits. Nomex Honeycomb is featured in the Glass/Carbon Epoxy fuselage, which is cured in an oven under extreme vacuum to give a stronger, lighter and stiffer fuselage than ever thought possible. The Carrera-X can be built with fix or retractable gear.
