Naomi Bennett is a director, teacher and movement artist from Cambridge, MA. She is currently finishing her M.F.A. at in Television, Film, and Theatre production at California State University, Los Angeles.
Naomi is a certified Yoga Instructor; a graduate of the Professional Track Circus program at the New England Center for Circus Arts; and has studied clowning, mime, and mask in Venice, Paris, and Montreal. Naomi is a former cast member of the Boston's gender-bending drag show TraniWreck, and a co-founder and former member of The Grindhouse Marionettes, who opened for such acts as Nine Inch Nails, The Tiger Lilies, and the Dresden Dolls.
Miss Bennett directs original theater-dance performance pieces created in collaboration with performers. Recent directing credits include:

    Wings, by Arthur Kopit (nominated Best in Physical Theater & Dance at the 2013 Hollywood Fringe Festival)
    Tearing the World Apart, an original devised performance about being pushed to the edge, and beyond (nominated Best in Physical Theater & Dance at the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Festival)
