Bio

Naomi Bennett is a director, clown, drag queen, and movement artist from Cambridge, MA.
She is currently in the MFA program at CSULA in studying TV, Film, and Theatre production.
Miss Bennett is a certified Yoga Instructor; a graduate of the Professional Track Circus program at
the New England Center for Circus Arts; and has studied clowning, mime, and mask in Venice, Paris, and Montreal.
She is a former cast member of the gender-bending drag show TraniWreck, and a co-founder and former member of The
Grindhouse Marionettes, who opened for such acts as Nine Inch Nails, The Tiger Lilies, and the Dresden Dolls.
Miss Bennett's directs original theater-dance performance pieces created in collaboration with performers. Recent
directing credits include “Searching for Molly Pye . . .” a theater-dance exploring grief, death, and childhood memories,
