This meeting was postponed one week due to a snowstorm.

 

Secretary report read and accepted

 

Treasurers Report Read and accepted.  $1163.38 in bank. We donated $100 to CFD. 

 

We paid $305.45 for the RK annual dinner.

 

I was reimbursed for filing the Non –profit designation with the state ($18.50) and $9.00

    for postage for snail mailing the annual dinner invites and reminders.

 

Our treasurer has noticed that CFD has not cashed our donation check. Mark will inquire with Chuck C.

We paid $270 to International for our chapter annual dues.

We received a mailing detailing Ware, Mass. “fill the boot” ride on May 17^th 2008. 

More details to follow.

We received a letter from CFD Chief Chuck thanking us for our donation.

We have identified an issue with members that have RK issued license plates. 

  Some of us have plated designated  “special issue” and are subject to a $45 annual fee,

  while other have RK plates designated “vanity” and incur a $75 annual fee from the state.

  Our newly elected president Tom is investigating this issue.  News to follow.

 

We have also identified an additional issue pertaining to state reps.  And asst. state reps. 

There seems to be a disconnect as to how these people can be contacted and whether the

 assisitant is an elected or appointed position.  Again Tom is investigating this issue.

We will start building a ride list for 2008.
