FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. ELIZABETH SOLDNER HELD TUES.

Mrs. Elizabeth Soldner, one of Dodge county's pioneer residents, was buried Tuesday afternoon at Lowell where she died Friday evening after a brief illness.  Services were held at the home of her son Elmer in the town of Lowell, followed by services in the Lowell Reformed church.  Burinal was made in the Lowell cemetery.  Rev. Hennig officiated.

Mrs. Soldner was born in the town of Lowell on March 27, 1848, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Weihert.  She was married on September 19, 1862 to Leonard Soldner.  Shortly after their marriage they took up farming in the town of Shields where they remained for 18 years.  They then purchased the present Soldner farm in the town of Lowell.  Mr. Soldner died in 1921.

Seven children survive, August of Watertown, George, Herman, and Mrs. Henry Reinhard of the town of Lowell, Henry of Beaver Dam, William of Reeseville and Elmer on the home farm.  A daughter Mrs. Christina Neis of Lowell died in 1928.  There are 24 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.  There is one sister, Mrs. Jacob Seibel of the town of Shields.
