4 acres in SE1/4 10-9-13 bounded on north and east by the North and East lines
of the SE1/4 SE1/4, on the west by the Crawfish River, and on the south by a
line parallel to said north line
In return for the deed to the above-described lands, George agreed to provide
his father the following items each year:
- $25 to be paid on 1 Nov
- 16 bushels of good, cleaned wheat
- 6 bushels of good potatoes
- 1 fat hog weighing 200 lbs.
- 100 lbs. of salt
- 1 lb. of fresh butter every week
- 1 quart of fresh, sweet milk daily
- 1 gallon of petroleum
- the necessary greens
- the necessary cut up firewood
- to leave his father in quiet and peaceable possession of the house now
occupied and to let his brothers, Leonard and Hartman, to live with their
father during their minority
- to care for his father when sick and then to do all housework
- to do all washing and ironing
- to give his father use of the well and of all roads and paths on the farm
