George Weihert

Agreement between George Weihert, as Grantor, and Hartman Weihert, as Grantee, dated 14 Oct 1879 and recorded 31 Oct 1879 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Dodge County, Wisconsin in Volume 8 of Miscellaneous, Page 366.

Legal description:
W1/2 NW1/4 10-9-13
4 acres in SE1/4 10-9-13 bounded on north and east by the North and East lines of the SE1/4 SE1/4, on the west by the Crawfish River, and on the south by a line parallel to said north line

In return for the deed to the above-described lands, George agreed to provide his father the following items each year:

  1. $25 to be paid on 1 Nov
  2. 16 bushels of good, cleaned wheat
  3. 6 bushels of good potatoes
  4. 1 fat hog weighing 200 lbs.
  5. 100 lbs. of salt
  6. 1 lb. of fresh butter every week
  7. 1 quart of fresh, sweet milk daily
  8. 1 gallon of petroleum
  9. the necessary greens
  10. the necessary cut up firewood
  11. to leave his father in quiet and peaceable possession of the house now occupied and to let his brothers, Leonard and Hartman, to live with their father during their minority
  12. to care for his father when sick and then to do all housework
  13. to do all washing and ironing
  14. to give his father use of the well and of all roads and paths on the farm
