John F. Sumnicht

Agreement between John F. Sumnicht, as Grantor, and J.W.F. Sumnicht and wife, A.F.W. Sumnicht, as Grantees, dated 7 Mar 1869 and recorded 11 Sept 1882 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Dodge County, Wisconsin in Volume 9 of Miscellaneous, Page 319.

In return for the deed to a 177 acre farm, John agreed to provide the following items to his parents on the 1st of November each year:

  1. $50
  2. 6 barrels of good wheat flour
  3. 400 pounds of good pork
  4. 10 bushels of good potatoes
  5. 12 dozen eggs
  6. 2 tons of good hay
  7. 12 pounds of wool
  8. the pasture, use and benefit of 2 cows
  9. all apples on 2 rows of trees running east/west on the north side of the house
  10. the use and right to all that part of the house built in the back
  11. firewood (to be cut, split and delivered)
  12. to be able to pay $2000 to obtain a release from the terms and conditions of this agreement
