Johann George Soldner jr.

Agreement between Johann George Soldner, jr., as Grantor, and Johann George Soldner and E. Charlotte Soldner, as Grantees, recorded 4 Mar 1874 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Dodge County, Wisconsin in Volume 9 of Miscellaneous, Page 61.

In return for the deed to the above-described lands, Johann agreed to give his parents each year the following items:

  1. 60 bushels of wheat
  2. 30 bushels of good potatoes
  3. 2 fat hogs, each 225 lbs. butchered and salted in barrels
  4. 250 eggs
  5. the necessary cabbage
  6. 1/3 part of all apples
  7. the necessary cut firewood
  8. the necessary oil for burning
  9. to leave them in quiet and peaceable possession of the log building portion of the dwelling house and to give them use of part of the cellar
  10. to do all housework and to attend to them if ill
  11. if parents should move, to pay their house rent and to carry the above-mentioned items to them without payment if within a 6 mile radius
  12. parents can dispossess the children if they do not keep up the terms contained above
