About 460 cows were pledged for the upcoming season. Louis Froehlich was the cheesemaker and manager of the factory. He operated as a representative of John Habhegger, cheesemaker and wholesaler in Watertown.
About 1,500,000 pounds of milk had been delivered for the previous season. Prices paid per pound were as follows:
