22 Karat Gold (Quartet Champions of Region 22)

In the year 2000, 22 Karat Gold was formed. This group is made up of past and present Region 22 quartet champions. 22 Karat Gold was formed for the purpose of getting together and renewing old friendships, supporting and coaching the existing quartets in Region 22 to continually grow and improve, and performing for the general membership in Region 22.

Since then, this group has rapidly become an important part of Region 22. Each year they have a performance following the regional quartet competition, and they host a quartet hospitality room. In addition, they have held fundraisers for quartets going to International, organized and presented quartet-focused music schools, and have provided continued support to the region's quartets through hostessing quartets at regional competition, providing coaching, and more.
