Since 1999 I've offered free instructions for sewing cloth diapers on my web site. These give detailed directions along with pictures for sewing your own diapers for a fraction of the price you would pay elsewhere.

These patterns come with the same instructions available on my web site plus tips for adding Velcro or snaps if you prefer not to use pins.

I've received wonderful responses, but I know it can be hard for some to translate the instructions from a computer screen into an actual pattern to produce an actual diaper.

Some people just need a paper pattern they can see and touch
to get them started.

The diapers are perfect for beginners. After the third or fourth diaper you will be an expert! A customer wrote, "Just wanted to thank you for a great product. I just started sewing in Feb. of this year and was amazed to see that I could make something so soon. LOL Thanks again!"

One difficulty can be the variation in babies. We all know there is no standard for a three month old baby. Babies come in various shapes and sizes so no one pattern fits all; therefore...

You will receive patterns for the following:

1. Newborn size, fitted. Don’t make too many of these. They fit about one month.

2. Medium hour-glass shape, fitted. This is a good diaper for up to four months or so.

3. Small no elastic, fitted. Stretch terry is recommended.

4. Velcro tabs. Large size, fitted.

5. One size diaper, fitted. Front tabs fold in and down for an infant, up and out for a toddler.

6. Slim front, fitted. Designed for Velcro tabs or pins.

7. Wide-wing toddler, fitted. This is the largest pattern.

8. Slim fit, larger, fitted. (My favorite) As is true with the other large diapers, you can fold the diaper in the middle to make it 16 inches long for a medium size.

9. Large general purpose, fitted.

10. Prefold diaper. (no paper pattern, instruction sheet.)

Nine different paper diaper patterns
from newborn to toddler sizes.
You can try them all to see which ones fit your baby best.

Also included are Easy Instructions for Diaper # 10--Prefold diapers. This is invaluable information. Make a couple dozen for your newborn and then use them as diaper doublers or burp cloths for the older baby. They also make perfect dust cloths when baby is grown.

I made several fitted diapers in newborn size for my granddaughter's baby shower. Everyone raved over them! You too can sew these cute diapers with these easy to follow patterns!

Plus Free Bonus--Directions for making a Wool Butt Sweater diaper cover from a wool sweater. Too Cute!
I try my best to ship within 24 hours of your payment.
