
Because it's far easier to design
than to build, follows is another design for a (relatively) simple, yet (to my
eyes) attractive plywood boat. As of now, it's designed to be less than
two sheets long (14') and one sheet wide (4'). It will use a simple
trolling motor (mounted thru-hull) for propulsion and can be rowed without too
much difficulty if the battery dies. The members of the BoatDesign group
have been very helpful in refining the design up to now and I'm sure it will
evolve a bit more before the sawdust flies.
