My father needed a quick and dirty, high-sided skiff for beach launching along the Maine coast to get to his “real” moored boat. He was using a small john-boat and taking waves over the bow during launch so we whipped up this chunky skiff in a week-end. Materials were PL adhesive, ¼” luan, bronze ring-nails.

It floats, no leaks!
