Amy Isenhour created Brown Eyes Motor Company (big brown eyes being a strong family trait) so that she could have her creative outlet. She wanted to combine her passion for classic automobiles with her desire to design unique fashion accessories. With her father, she traveled to many antiques and vintage car shows and sometimes entered her own vintage classic, a 1964 ½ Ford Mustang. She noticed that the classics not only appeal to women but they make men salivate!! She thought, “Why not create a line of handbags using those classic mouth-watering interiors that will literally make men’s heads turn.” So she did!

Much research has gone into every model for each bag is true to its car and time in history. Some of the fabrics are NOS, New Old Stock, while other fabrics, parts, and chrome are hard to come by. Amy’s original steering wheel handle was inspired from her own Mustang. Does she design only bags inspired by the Mustang? No, she simply has a soft spot in her heart for that all American “pony car”. |
