Yoga at Three Roods FarmThe goal of yoga is a clear mind and a pure heart in a healthy body. The entire yoga class is a meditation. We begin with a concentration on the physical postures and then move into deep relaxation to integrate the work at the cellular level. Pranayama and chanting are a part of every class. Pranayama means control of the breath. When we learn to control our breath, we can eventually control our emotions and our mind.
TrainingRobin began her yoga practice in 1969, studying with teachers from the Detroit Integral Yoga Institute who came to her dorm at the University of Michigan twice a week. She continued her practice for over 30 years before deciding to become trained as a yoga teacher. With the blessings of Swami Satchidananda, she received her certification in August 2001. Register
