Hours: Open 24 hours a day (shoot anytime you wish).
Stations: Eight 50' stations.
The Rock County Rifle & Pistol Club has been serving the area
for more then 20 years.
The club sponsors the following:
Monthly competitive shooting events.
A youth shooters program.
Two gun shows each year.
Membership Requirements:
You must be at least 18 years old.
You must be legally able to own a firearm.
You must attend a meeting to get voted into the club or make
special arrangements with the membership committee. Meetings are held
the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the range.
Annual Dues:
A one-time initiation fee of $25.00 is charged the first year
only.
The initial membership fee is $75.00 regardless of what month you join.
A $15 deposit for the electronic key is required.
All memberships expire in April. Membership renewal is $115. You can contribute up to 8 hours of work for the club during the year and reduce your dues by $10 per hour. Minimum dues are $35.00.
NRA membership is not required, but is highly encouraged. The current fee to join the NRA is $25.00. Call 1-877-672-2000 and mention the recruiter ID XC017319 to save $10 off the normal $35 fee. Click here to join on-line.
Club Rules:
Only paper targets are to be shot while at the range.
No rifles or shotguns are to be used at the range except 22LR.
No handgun that generates more than 800 foot pounds of muzzle
energy is allowed to be used at the range.
Any guests that are brought to the range are the responsibility
of the member who brought them.
Keep the door to the range closed at all times.
Make sure the ventilation system is running while shooting.
When you are finished shooting, all targets and empty brass must
be cleaned up and properly disposed of.
Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times.
Wear appropriate clothing while at the range such as blue jeans,
a heavy shirt, and good shoes. NO shorts or sandals.
No smoking is allowed at the range.
The use of alcoholic beverages, before you shoot or while at the
range, is strictly forbidden.
Shooters are liable for their safety while at the range.
Firearms safety must be observed at all times.
Jacketed ammo is approved except where noted.
Reported violations of firearms safety will be cause for
dismissal.
