Bible Downloads You can Download to your own computer different versions of the Bible to read and Study God's word on your own computer. Every attempt is made to select those programs which are Free. The best resource we have found is e-Sword© - the Sword of the LORD with an electronic edge! You must first Download and install the Main e-Sword© program and then you Download and install the different Bible Versions from e-Sword© Downloads Here. Another Bible software resource is the Bible Database. You will need to Download the Main Program from Here and Install ir before selecting any additional Add-Ons. I would recommend the Item named bibdb_kjv.zip which includes the King James Version Bible. Follow these directions to Download and install this program: Download and Installation For this "ZIP" version, you must have a program like Winzip can be Downloaded Here installed in order to unzip the file {unless you have Windows XP™,which already has an UnZipper installed}. Save the file to a folder of your choice. {Remember where you Saved this file to.} Open the file with a program like Winzip, or with Windows XP™ Double-click the file to unZip. Run setup.exe to install on your Hard Drive. Lastly, don't forget to download and install at least one Bible if you did not download one of the versions that include a Bible or BibleDatabase will not work. You will get an error message telling you "No Bibles are installed". Another Free Reource, Jesus.net offers Free Christian Downloads. There are several Downloads, to help you with your study of God's word, the Holy Bible. There's even an On-Line Bible at CFC - Computers for Christ and they also offer you the opportunity to download the same Bible for installation on your own computer.
