Mokume table

This table was commissioned by a couple who live in Tucson AZ.  It functions as a place to rest a bottle of wine and two glasses while relaxing at the end of the day.  The sterling silver connector was a last minute design change and to me it is what makes the design sing.  The wood is from an exceptional log of instrument grade curly Claro Walnut, the top displays some spectacular  crotch figure from the same log.
