Yellow to Yellow/Green
 

 

  1. Complete 25 class hours. (Attend classes at least 2 times per week in order to become proficient.)

  2. Sponsor an additional new member; It is the tradition in Tae Kwon Do that students reflect their loyalty and commitment by helping the school expand its impact on the community, increase its student enrollment, and improve the quality of its students.

  3. Recite the Aims to Achieve and Pledge and answer questions on their meanings.

  4. Submit a list of 5 worthwhile goals. (Tae Kwon Do or Personal)

  5. Know your basic definition sheet, and the full definition sheet in the manual

  6. Read through the Student Manual at least once, every page.

  7. Personal physical training: To be done at least 3 days per week

    Pushups: 5-7 yrs.=5  8-10 yrs.=10  11-12 yrs.=15  13+yrs. = 20

    Sit-Ups: 25

    Cardio:  4 minutes

Stripe 1

 

Learn Dan-Gun Hyung and the required Definition

 

Stripe 2

 

Be able to perform 10 different one step sparring and two take downs.

 

Stripe 3

Prior to the start of your normal class, notify the instructor you wish to          test for your 3rd stripe. Your third stripe is overall class participation and effort.
