From Switzerland drive through Liechtenstein (don't blink, you'll miss it) but do stop and send that post card back to the States with the Liechtenstein post mark. Continue on towards Garmisch and you will travel through one of the worlds longest automobile tunnels! About 12 miles or so and up, up, up. I visited in May and when I entered the tunnel it was nice and warm and comfortable. Exited and there in the distance was the Zuspitz, highest mountain in Germany, covered in snow and just beautiful. Temperature I would suspect was around 30f.
