A Little History The church became a mission in March 1967. Sponsored by the Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church located in Oroville, California.
Bro. Wayne Beene led out as the missionary and was here until December 1968.

Fred Shrum came on the field February 1969, and remained til April 1970.
Richard Burch assumed the work in June 1970 til June 1971. The mission organized into a church August 14, 1970. David Housewright pastored the church from October 1971 til May 1976. Bill Roberts pastored from February 1977 til May 1978. |
Mark Reeves pastored from December 1978 til February 1982. Bro. Obie Tilley became pastor July 18, 1982 til August 2001. Bro. Walter Petree became pastor August 2001 and is our current pastor. Bro. Mark Hudson became our assistant pastor in September 2004 and is still active in that position. |
