Job/Activity Description: This program matches Service Learning participants with childcares (homes and centers) in Carlton County. Responsibilities include sharing age appropriate books with the children in the child care, doing a short activity related to one of the books shared, and distributing books for the children to choose to take home. There are 43 childcares hi the county to choose from and readings are held 3 times per school year in each so hours should be easy to accumulate.
 

Special Requirements: One and a half hours of training which applies towards total service hours performed.
