Freaked Trailer
Here's
a
silly game. (It only works in Internet Explorer 4.0 or
better)
- "Just
like Michelangelo saw the angel in the stone, I
can look at a guy like Kevin Costner and see a
giant peach grub who can fart "The Blue
Danube," -Elijah C. Skuggs
- "It's
about getting Mr. T to wear a dress,"-Tom J.
Stern
- "I
co-wrote it (Freaked) and co-directed it and gave
about 40 ounces of my own blood. I'll be
collecting money from everyone in the audience
later to try to pay myself back,"-Alex
Winter
FREAKED is Tom
and Alex's tour-de-force look at the sideshow freak
traditition. It is a comedy first and foremost with many
other elements mixed in such as sci-fi, horror, action,
and even wrestling!
FREAKED is the
story of a struggling former child actor named Ricky
Coogin (played by Alex Winter) who, to the tune of $5
million, endorces a toxic brand of fertilizer called
Zygrot 24. EES (Everything Except Shoes) has him and his
pal, Ernie(Michael Stoyanov-Joey's friend on
"Blossom") fly to Santa Spam, I mean Santa FLAN
where Rick will be their South-American spokesperson.
They are followed by an annoying little Troll(Alex
Zuckerman) and have Morgan Fairchild as a flight
attendant.
The boys land
only to be greeted by a herd of protesters, but Rick
takes a liking to one of them(Megan Ward) and decides to
impersonate a cripple to gain her affection. They all end
up at FREEKLAND, an out of the way, bottom of the barrel
freak exhibit run by the hilariously demented redneck,
Elijah C. Skuggs (played by Randy Quaid in his best role
ever!). Little do they know Skuggs is intending to make
them his next star attractions...
20th. Century Fox
originally had such high expectations for the movie known
as Freaked that they devised a line of toys, a comic
book, and a novel adaptation of the film.
