After the cinematic you learn how to swim (this is also how you fly). Get used to it and it's incredibly fun. It's not that hard to learn either, but practice until you're used to it as battles can be hard when you don't know how to swim. After you're ready talk to Sebastian and then run into Flounder. Now he swims away so you are supposed to play a sort of tag game with him. His next location is off to the left of the open white shell. After that he is right behind the shell. Then he swims to right under Sebastian. Then he swims directly above the white shell. Finally, he swims to the entrance the trident is not pointing to. Now you get to try it out for real! After the battle attack the white shell and a cinematic begins. As usual I would suggest getting rid of Donald for Ariel and saving at the save point. Follow the trident mark straight forward from the save portal and around the corner. Head toward the whirlpool in the middle of the big room that you walk into next. After getting somewhat close to the whirlpool you should see a trident pointing down, head for it (avoiding the whirlpool) and go down into the ravine it points at. Now head toward the wall that had the trident pointing down and enter the next room. Now this part is a little tricky so you may have to go through here a few times before you get it. First off point in the direction opposite the way the water is flowing. Now point the joystick all the way that way and tilt slightly toward the right. Now as soon as you get into the current you will go backwards. There is a path off to the same side as the one you came in from so when you see a wall (or the camera is blocked by a wall) head for the left side of the current and hopefully you will end up in the correct area (or else know where to go next time). Once in the alcove don't end up in the whirlpool or you will have to do that all over again. Go around the whirlpool and enter the cave on the other side of the room. Head straight forward and attack the shell to get a cottage. Now head up the hole in the roof. Follow the trident to the right and look for a hole in the big wall in the middle of the room. Two tridents are pointing at it if that helps. In the next room head for the big castle in the background and a cinematic will appear. There is another shell that you can find on the right side almost under the walkway. After attacking it you can get an elixer from it. Head straight left from that shell and you will see a yellow one. Use thunder on it to get the Mythril Shard. Now head back towards the entrance (away from the castle) and find the white shell (almost at the entrance) attack and steal the Mega-Ether from it. Head right from there and attack the white shell on the other side of the walkway to get a Cottage. Head out through the cave and then go straight down to the white shell, attack it and get a Mega-Ether. Swim to the right and enter Aeriel's Grotto. There are a lot of things in here so I will cover the most important (item bearing) things in the room. First head for the trident shaped mark and then grab the Mega-Potion in the chest to the left and down from the trident. Now head up (straight up) to the second-from-the-top row and grab the torn page. Now head down two rows and over to the other side to get the cottage from the chest there. Now leave the room for a cinematic. Head straight and a little to the left to go the wrong way (according to the tridents) and into the next area. Now swim straight down and into the hole and then head forward and enter the whirlpool. Find the dolphin swimming around and lock on to him. Now when you get close enough choose grab on to get a ride around and up the current. Now head onward into the sunken ship area. Head for the ship and try and go down the stairs. Now a cinematic will occur and you appear under the deck of the ship. Go to open the chest and the shark will attack. Now don't worry about him as he does practically nothing at the moment except for scare you. Now open the chest to get the Crystal Trident. Now head behind the stairs and down the hole to get the Mythril from the white shell (attacking). Now head out of the ship by going up the hole and onto the below deck and then out the hole in the ship (thank you Mr. Shark) or up the stairs. Now you will be in a boss battle with the shark (kinda).

Boss -- Shark

HP:195
MP:????

Now this shouldn't even be a boss battle as this dude is so easy to beat it is pathetic. Simply attack maybe 10 times and he dies. Not too many attacks either.

Grab the ether and hi-potion he gives off and then head towards the back of the ship. Here there is an overturned ship with a hole in the side of it. Swim in to get the elixer from the chest. Swim behind the ship side next to that to get a Mythril Shard. Now leave and whack the stump thing to go straight up. After you nock the chest out of the way open it to get the Orichalum. Now swim to the right just a bit to get to Aeriel's Grotto. Enter and approach the trident shaped indentation in the front wall of her grotto to get a cinematic. After that leave her grotto and head right and into the cave. Before you get there a cinematic plays. Now swim forward towards the palace. Now you will see another cinematic and you will have to pick your party again. I suggest the same party as last time. Head out of the throne room and out of the palace courtyard. Now head straight froward and a little to the left (think anti-trident) and into the hole. Now head straight down and into the next room. Next go straight forward and float to the top using the whirlpool. Now search for the dolphin and hitch a ride. Once in the flowing water current room head into the sunken ship area. In here fight the shark again and continue to the opposite side of the room that you came in from. There should be a bow to a wrecked boat and a rock with markings on it. Examine behind the bow to find a rock button. Sebastian will push it in and the rock will fall. Now enter the den of tides. Head forward and at the split take the right path. Now continue on until you get to a small chamber. Hit the shell and use the save portal (really definately SAVE). Now head back to the split and take the left path instead of the right one. Head down the belly of the beast and into Ursaula's Lair. It's boss time and whoa this is a toughy.

Boss -- Ursula

HP:450
MP:????

This battle has multiple targets, Ursula, the eels, and the cauldron. Kill Ursula and the battle is over (it's not really as easy as it sounds). First you must understand how this works. Ursula can be attacked when moving slowly around the area. She also spins really fast around the area at which point you can do nothing to her and she can kill you (life really isn't fair is it?). Another annoying bit to this battle is the cauldron. Ursula will, at times, through numerous items into her lovely cauldron. These can cause anything from level 3 black to special attack like whirlpool. Whenever Ursula throws something into the cauldron it is best to get as far to the outside of the room and continue moving as long as possible. And as if this battle couldn't get any harder she has her two eels to annoy you with. These little guys attack frequently and are a royal pain. First off focus on taking out Ursula. Wait until she isn't moving and then move in to attack. The moment you get three shots in move the other way in case she decides to counter. When she begins to laugh keep her targeted (mainly so you know where she is not really to attack) and try and figure out the direction she is moving around the room, and go the other way, in less than half a second. If you can pull this off (don't worry you get good at it soon enough) you will move in the same direction as her (either clockwise or counter-clockwise) and she will practically never be able to hit you with that spinning attack. However she does also like to come accross the room to attack Sora in particular. If she does this immediately go the other way and keep going the other way to dodge this attack again. If you find that you only do about two hits before she does her spinning attack you are attacking too quickly. Wait until she throws the strange chemicals into the cauldron to attack. Really you just have to wait till she swims around a bit and looks like she's ready to throw it in and then you can get maybe 6-7 shots in. Using the opposite magic as is shown in the cauldron (fire for blue, ice for red, etc.) makes her throw another chemical into the cauldron and sometimes does damage. If you do that enough it will kill her, however make sure to keep your HP up. Magic very rarely does much if any damage to her so thats almost useless (except to cure). Save your magic for cures and bring a couple ethers into the battle (for those times when you can't get any attacks in, it happens). However, a very important thing to note is that the eels are extremely easy to beat, but give off a lot of MP and also require Ursula to cure them (giving you time to attack). Attack at the right time, dodge attacks, cure always, and have a whole lot of luck and perservearence and you shall win.

After a long and tidius battle you will be rewarded with a cinematic, a shared ability Mermaid Kick, and another boss fight. I suggest going back to save and then continue back towards the sunken ship. Head for the large current room by going around (or over) the ship and through the hole. Now look for an opening in the opposite wall towards the start of the current. Use your new shared ability to get accross and upstream. This battle is seemingly very difficult and extremely easy.

Boss -- Ursula

HP:900
MP:????

Don't let the HP or the long list of attacks scare you. This is nothing like the last battle it is incredibly easy and takes about 5 min. Simply lock on and keep attacking until she dies. Cure when necessary and you're done. Swim next to, behind, or at the very least an angle to her face. Now attack. Don't worry too much about her attacks, just stay away from her mouth and attack and then cure. Easy battle for 900 HP. When she gets down to less than green she gets a little more difficult. Just heal for the most part and attack whenever you can. The rule of thumb in the green zone is if your health is between 1/2 and 2/3 heal and if its below definately heal twice at least. Anything above and you should be good.

After the cinematic and conversation you get Thundara and Ansem's Report 3. Head out to the courtyard and then outside of that and turn right to get to Aeriel's grotto. Swim forward a bit to see the cinematic. After that you will lock the world and get Crab Claw. Now head out of the grotto and anti-trident again until you get back to the original save point. Save and head for the upper left world you have yet to visit, Halloween Town.
