Welcome to Hollow Bastian! Save at the save portal and then jump off onto the water below. Run forward and around on the opposite side of the biggest spike in the middle coming up from the ground is a chest containing dalmations 91, 92, and 93. Now head back to the first platform and jump onto the next icicle platform. Now continue forward onto the double platform. Now continue to the small platform and then the big one. Now look back the way you came and you should see another platform floating higher than the one you're on. Jump over to this one using the high jump and getting as close to the edge as you can. Grab the Dispel-G here and then jump back to the big platform. Now look to the right side of the platform you are on to find the moving platform. Jump onto this one when it is at its lowest state. Then wait until it is all the way up and jump to the next platform. Jump to the platform on the left side straight ahead (again a large jump) to get the blizzaga ring from the chest there. Jump back down to the large platform and then up two more to see a cinematic. Choose your party again (big choice here) and then turn around. Face back the way you came and look for a platform with a chest on it off to the left a little. Now jump and glide over to it and grab the Megalixer it contains. Now head back to where the cinematic occured and jump onto the first moving platform (at its lowest position). Then onto the next moving platform when the one you are on is at the top of its route and just starts going down. Now jump onto the next large icicle platform and continue up the stairs and keep walking (even though it looks like you will fall) until you are taken on a lift to the top. Be wise when battling here as the wooden sword does considerably less damage then the keyblade. Head right and through the gates as they open and then examine the crystal on the right that glows when you approach it. Walk forward and jump into the bubble floating in the air. Jump onto the square pedestal and then onto the icicle ledge above the water. Open the chest here to get Mythril and then onto the next ledge to get a Tornado-G and then release the crystal on this ledge to activate a movable ledge somewhere else. Jump onto the ledge around the corner to the right and then onto the next one (using glide) and grab the Tornado-G here. Now jump all the way back to the square pedestal. Move it over to the front right corner where the other ledge is (the one you haven't used yet). Jump onto the square pedestal and then onto the next ledge. Release the crystal here to activate another ledge and then head to your right accross the two ledges to get to a platform. Now go forward a little and then left into the waterway. Go forward and call beast to break down the wall and then grab the esuna-g. Now head back out and jump off the ledge. Now head for the second bubble on the right (the one low to the ground). After entering this bubble you will be transported to a different section of the waterway. Grab the firaga ring to the right and then save. Now head toward the jail cell looking wall that resembles the wall beast broke earlier and again call beast to break this one. Now go left to another bubble transport. Go a little left and call beast to break another wall. Once inside this room grab the Float-Gs that are in both the chests. Now head outside the room and take a left around the left corner is a switch. Activate it to move a few walls. Now follow the path until you come accross another button. Activate this to move some more walls and then go right and activate the button in this little area. Now head back to the left and through to the next area and hit the button in here to move some more walls. Now jump into the bubble to get past another wall and then activate the switch in the next room. After riding the elevator up turn right and activate the button with all the gears around it. Now head back towards the elevator. Jump down and then into the bubble and activate the switch in the room you appear in. Now head past the switch on your left to the one in the room to the right and activate it. Now go back to the one you passed up and activate that one. Now head back the way you came in by going straight backwards and then taking a right. Jump into the bubble and Continue forward and to the left to get back to the save portal. Save and then jump into the bubble behind you. Now head left and activate the lift to return to the castle. Walk along the path and through the gate then turn left at the top of the stairs and follow the path around to another gate. This one was locked before, but you opened it by activating the last switch with all the gears around it. So watch the cinematic and prepare for a boss fight.

Boss -- Riku

HP:200
MP:????

With the keyblade back in your ownership this will be an easy battle. Riku has many hard-to-block abilities so look out. This is an easy battle, but you must always cure when you are low. Sounds like a sily thing to say, but I have died many times because I was worried about running out of MP. If you are going to run out better to run out at full instead of flashing red right? Not too much to worry about here except for an attack that looks a lot like sonic. When he begins moving around really fast just don't even try to attack as you will most likely not block it and just hurt yourself.

After the somewhat easy battle a cinematic plays and you get beast back and recieve white trinity ability. Choose your party and then continue up the left stairs. Now head left at the top and go in the library. In here run over the red book lying on the floor to pick it up and then head right over to the bookshelf where you can use the book to move the bookcase. Head around to the opposite side of the left pillar and turn it once so that the treasure chest appears and you can grab the elixer it contains. Now head up the stairs and at the top turn the pillar indentation twice so that you can get the mythril it contains. Look for another pillar off to the right. This one needs to be spun once to get the Mega-Potion it contains. There is a save portal next to the desk in this same area. Use it and then jump onto the top of the bookcase in front of you. Follow it around the l-shape to the left and then quick jump and glide to get to the treasure chest accross the gap from the bookshelf you are on. Open it to find a dispel-g and then follow this ledge around to a pillar where you can get an AP up after spinning the indentation twice. Now head back to the save portal on the balcany and grab the orange book on the desk. Turn around and head right towards the door and on your left you should see a section of orange books with an opening in the middle. Examine it to slide the bookcase away revealing a button. Now push the button and then head back to the save portal now go for the bookshelf on the left wall. Once here examine the out-of-order green book and take it for future use. Now turn around and walk right until you are past the bookshelf and are almost at the stairs. Now turn left and jump off the balcany. Follow the path around and on the right side is a section of green books and one blue one. First insert the green one and then take the blue one. Now one bookcase has moved to reveal the blue book stash. Insert the new blue book and another wall moves revealing, well, a rearanged library. Now head up the stairs and use the save portal to switch your party to donald, goofy, and sora if your party is not already those three. Now use the green trinity to get the yellow book on top of the bookshelf. With the yellow book in hand jump off onto the bookshelf tops and continue on into the next isle. Follow it back to the library entrance and on the left wall of the last bookcase is a section of yellow books. Examine the empty slot here to replace the lost book moving more bookcases around. Now head straight, right around the u-turn area and then continue left and into the new dead end. Run into the bookcase on the right-hand side to get the orange book. Now turn around and head up the stairs to where the desk is. Immediately to the left of the desk is a section of orange books. Examine the empty space here to activate this bookcase. Grab the green book here and turn around completely and jump into the section below. Now turn around again and you should see a green section on the right-hand side of the bookcase isle. Replace the book you just got and a desk will appear with the purple book. Now grab that and turn around. Head straight, then left at the second left and up the stairs to the right. At the top of the stairs continue until you get to the desk area. Now from here head left and find the purple book section where you just grabbed the green book from. Replace the purple book here and a secret passageway will appear. Save before continuing and then head through to the new area. Head left and lock onto the pedestal to cast gravity type magic on it. Grab the tornado-g from the chest and then head back to the crystal. Activate it and then after the long ride cast gravity magic on the pedestal here to get the chest down. Grab the Ultima-G from the chest here and then head back using the lift. Now reenter the library and turn left and head into the entrance hall on the second floor after saving at the save portal. All the way around are tiger heads with two candles on either side of them. Light the candles with fire magic as you go. If you are running low on mp and don't want to use an elixer or ether attack the tiger as they give off mp bubbles. Head left here and target the first stone on the right side of the walkway. Cast thunder type magic on it to lower a bridge to the central platform. Next continue onward and look for a statue on the left side of the path. Stand on your right side of the pedestal and run to the left pushing it to the left and once you have gone far enough the pedestal will sink somewhat into the ground revealing a treasure on the first floor. Now continue around until you see a statue on the right side of the path. Use the red trinity here to nock the statue down revealing a strange crest. Now continue around and look for another statue on the left of the path. Attack the jars on both sides to reveal another crest. Now if you have lit all the candles you will see another crest in the middle of the room and the platforms will now be moving. If you haven't go back and light all of them and then jump into the middle. Grab the emblem piece in the middle and then jump down. In the center of the room is the second emblem piece. Walk forward and jump into the water to get the third emblem piece and then head up the right stairs. At the top head right around the path and open the chest to get the fourth and final emblem piece. Now head back to the library and save if you want and then continue to the door at the top of the stairs. After you are done examine the door four times to place all the emblems inside and then watch the cinematic. Now head forward and into the lift area. Head left here and take another left into the outer courtyard area. Be careful fighting Heartless here as many of them will try and trick you into falling and that takes quite a while to get back to where you were at before. Head left and up the stairs, then continue left and activate the solid red glowing crystal. This activates a moving platform that you need to jump onto. Once on take it until right before it first starts to turn and then jump onto the ledge off to the right. Use gravity type magic on the platform and grab the 94th, 95th, and 96th dalmations from the chest. Now you need to jump and glide back to the place you activated the lift. Activate the other lift to continue. Now head up the pathway and activate the next lift. This one is a bit strange as it is enormous, takes a long time, and requires you to battle half way through. Don't worry though it isn't a boss battle just easy Heartless that should go down quickly. Also you are not able to fall off the lift during this battle so that is one less thing to worry about. After the battle another crystal will appear in the middle of the lift. Activate it to continue with the trip. You will most likely notice that while on lifts of any kind (not just the big one) you will probably have trouble with the camera. Just hold it down longer than you should need to and it will most likely go where you need it. Head forward to pick up the dispel-g and then head down the stairs to the left and into the lift stop. Once in here board the lift and then head right and into the new area. Out here go left and activate the lift. Head left and use gravity magic on the platform to get the thundaga ring from the chest. Now head further left and around the corner to the crystal there. Activate it and it will lower a pillar. Now head back and then into the building again. From here go right and out of the building again. Once out here examine the crystal to make the second pillar come down. Now jump up the stair-like pillars and activate the crystal at the top to raise one of the pillars up higher to go up to the very top. Walk up there and open the chest around the corner to get a Megalixer and then head for the crystal. Activate the crystal and then go down the pillar stairs and around the corner into the room. Now head through to the next room. After the cinematic walk a little ways forward to see another cinematic. Now it's boss time!

Boss -- Maleficent

HP:900
MP:????

First off she is always on her little platform. This is annoying as you must always jump to attack, but still not a huge problem. You can also solve this temporarily by attacking the platform instead of Maleficent. She has many powerful attacks to be wary of though so don't take this battle lightly. Her first annoying little trick is summoning other heartless. This isn't horrible as your companions will almost always defeat these first. She has a wave sort of attack that causes large waves of energy to pass through the room. Just keep hittin heal until it is over and you should be fine as long as you have a reasonable amount of HP. After no time at all the extremely easy 900 HP battle will be over.

Watch the cinematic and rejoice as donald learns cheer and you recieve ansem's report 5. Save immediately using the save portal to your right. Now walk forward and into the glowing purple sphere. Watch the cinematic and then get ready for another boss fight with Maleficent.

Boss -- Maleficent Dragon Form

HP:1200
MP:????

Wow that's a lot of HP! She has numerous attacks that she will use to try and hurt you with. The first attack to be aware of is a ground based shockwave. When she gets up on her hind legs be ready to jump. Get close to her so that when you jump to avoid her attack she will be right in front of you so you can attack. She has a poison breath attack and usually follows this with a munching attack which are both easy to dodge (don't stand in front of the dragons mouth). She also does the ground based shockwave attack when she moves sideways. Be ready to jump at all times. Another attack she has is the tail swipe attack. This one can get very annoying as you have to run really far away for it to not affect you and you waste valuable time running around. I suggest just taking the hit and curing immediately afterwards. Another attack which she will hopefully use while you are in the air is a claw swipe attack. If she finds that too many people are attacking under her head she will swipe and badly injure anyone that's there. Avoid this by staying airborne for most of the battle with high-jump and/or glide. After getting down to the orange bar she will have a few new attacks at her disposal. The first is a nasty ring of fire sort of attack where she will spit out green fire and it will surround the entrance. Not much to worry about here unless you are going to run from the tail attack. The other thing she does now is a cloud of hurt attack where she creates little green clouds around her and if you get close enough to them they explode and cause damage. After getting her down to yellow she will create moving clouds of hurt. These are exactly the same as the clouds from before except they are heat seeking and follow your every move before exploding. After you get her down to green she gains nothing in attacks, but she doesn't lose any either. Cure always and persist and you should win sooner or later. This battle is not easy as most are in Hollow Bastian, but practice and level up if you are getting beaten quickly and you should be able to take down the bosses without too much trouble.

After the cinematic you get fireglow. Now head back to the purple sphere and then watch the next area open up. Save here and then head into the next room. Continue on to the doorway (beware of the lack of a fence on the right side) and walk forward in the next room until a cinematic starts. Yeah, another boss fight.

Boss -- Riku

HP:900
MP:????

This battle is a toughie. First off understand that glide is a must for this battle and even with it this will be a nasty battle. His main attacks at first are a sonic like attack and a jump attack. Both go really fast and can kill you in no time so attack very frequently but also very quickly so that you have time to heal. Arcs arcanum and sonic work well here, but watch the mp as you need a lot to heal. After getting him down to yellow he will start a new series of attacks. The first is a spinning energy blade projectile. This one is nasty, but can be easily avoided by gliding around in circles. Another attack he uses at this point is a jump ground pulse attack where he jumps straight up crashes down and then jets of energy shoot up. Just glide when he jumps and you should be able to dodge it. After getting him down to green health he can do his ultimate attack. This attack starts with him floating and having a white border around him. Then he begins to fly around the room (sonic style) at almost every angle in less than a few seconds injuring you really bad if you are caught in his path. Finally, he finishes his ultimate attack with a nice energy blast straight up from the ground on pretty much all of the platform you are standing on. To avoid taking serious damage from this attack wait until he is almost ready to fly around the room and then jump and glide in a circle around the area you are in. Then when he finishes doing the flying part immediately drop to the ground and jump and glide again to avoid the ground attack. If you just keep gliding you will most likely run out of flying area and be hit by the attack. Curing in the air makes you stay airborne a little longer as well and it helps with the HP if you are in need. After an extremely long battle the guy will finally die.

After the battle you will learn Ragnarok and a cinematic plays. This part of the game is both strange and extremely funny. You are now a heartless enjoy. Walk forward and down the stairs. Head through the door and then jump off the ledge here. Now head out to the high tower. Out here walk forward and just jump off. Now guess what you jump all the way off again. This is fun isn't it. Now head down the stairs and around the corner. In the lift area head through to the entrance hall to watch a conversation. After the first part of the conversation walk forward and jump off the top level to get a cinematic. Afterwards you are in Traverse Town.
