Cowboy Bebop - Things To Look For
All the episodes

Atomsk's Grip - Whenever someone's eyes light up red they are under the control of Atomsk.
Eraser - Throught the series the backgrounds and sometimes the faces are missing sections as if they were erased. This looks like a simpler version of real life and is probably a hint at smoothing out the rinkles.
Gateway to Someplace - The iron is always linked to the bridge as if to symbolize a journey to somewhere or to a higher/lower level of thinking.
Mamimi - Throughout the series Mamimi talks gibberish. Is this some sort of insight or is it just gibberish. Throughout the series it appears that she has some sort of special abilities that are somewhat similar to Naoto's, however I am not entirely sure what the words mean yet.
Smooth Thinking - Whenever the iron spews steam the characters don't move.

Episode 1 - Fooly Cooly

Hand Robot - Smaller Version of the final hand, however it still contains a core which Canti rips out.
Incompatible - Mamimi has a breakdown when the iron activates because she is incompatible or she is rebelling?
Something's Missing - Haruko is looking for Atomsk after subdueing Canti.
Sour Drinks - Naoto doesn't drink the sour soda and Mamimi does. Naoto is abnormal and Mamimi is normal.

Episode 2 - Fire Starter

Amputation - In the final battle of this episode you can see the new robot (not Canti) has one arm bandaged up. In the first episode Canti rips the hand out of Naoto's head and this is most likely where it came from.
Fooly Cooly - When Mamimi is in the circle towards the end of the episode she repeatedly says Fooly Cooly.
Hand Robot - The robot in the fight has the core in his right hand and Canti with Naoto shoots a hole through his arm and hand to destroy the core.
Red Shrapnel - Canti picks up a piece of red shrapnel from the reckage at the boat house and another from the reckage at the schoolhouse.

Episode 3 - Marquis de Carabas

Glasses - This one I'm still trying to figure out. At first she has glasses and then at the very end she says they're fake so the only thing I can think of was she was trying to get Naoto to give away one of his secrets because she told him one of hers. The only problem with this is that if she would like to keep her reputation she should have shown the fake glasses to Naoto in private not at the grand opening of the play.
Fighter Robot - This episode breaks the chain having a fighter robot with a core in it instead of a hand robot. It is interesting to note that the change happens during the first episode when a robot doesn't come out of Naoto's head.
Mosaic - As far as I can tell Canti is using the Red Shrapnel to make a piece of mosaic art however it may have some influence on the story as well.
South Park - When the teachers car gets smashed you can see a little Kenny doll hanging from the rear-view mirror.

Episode 4 - Full Swing

Dual Conversations - In numerous places during this episode Naoto begins to have two simultaneous conversations. This seems to symbolize the left and right side of the brain that is talked about after the revival of Kamon.
Falling Heads - When Haruko is talking to Naoto it seems like there are two conversations going on one (about baseball) that is actually happening and another (about which head works) that is being fed into his brain.
Fooly Cooly - After the interogation the woman in the blimp says Fooly Cooly during her announcement.
Interogation - During the interogation between the eyebrow dude and Naoto there is actually three conversations. The first is about hitting Kamon and the relationships that are based around Haruko. The second is about what Naoto likes to drink and about baseball. The third and final conversation either takes place in real life after the interogation and before the dude leaves or it takes place completely inside Naoto's head. If it is completely mental it could include everything about reviving Kamon and possibly even the interogation itself.
Odd Head - When Kamon is giving Haruko a back rub with his head his eyes don't move they just stare straight forward.
Seeing Double - When Naoto finds Kamon lying on the floor he has a simultaneous vision of Kamon the robot talking to him and Haruko coming out of Kamon. In this scene it is easy to differentiate between the conversations as the dream is in color and reality is in black and white (another interesting thing to note).
Plug - When Kamon is giving Haruko a back rub the camera switches to an angle so the power strip is close to the camera and you can see the plug go right into him.
Squinting Cat - The cat on the bakery sign is squinting. Usually associated with eating or drinking something sour.
Those Eyebrows - Yeah what's up with those eyebrows? Actually the eyebrows are to keep things from coming out of your head.

Episode 5 - Brittle Bullet

Big Gun - Fooly Cooly is starting to take over Naoto's life? Every time the gun clicks it is him doing something he wouldn't usually do? In the end he is Fooly Cooly?
Empty Bullets - After the first round of gunshots in the barber shop the bullets open up to reveal that they are hollow.
Fake Bullets - The bullets they shoot at each other repeatedly never seem to actually hurt anyone.
Guitar Lessons - During the conversation about guitar lessons it seems there is a simultaneous conversation where Naoto gets shot repeatedly by Haruko.
South Park - Two whole scenes done in classic South Park animation. Very entertaining.

Episode 6 - FLCLimax

Chain Link - Atomsk the bird has a chain link attached to his beak that is an exact copy of the one on Haruko's wrist.
Funny Flying Things - After the manga section of this episode when Haruko is fighting with everyone in the house strange things fly out.
Orders - Mamimi was taking orders from someone when she fed the core her cell phone as she said "Alright but it's your responsibility".
Red Lights - All throught the series, but particularily in this episode there are red lights in a lot of the scenes. These are I think a reference to Atomsk and would be more prevelant in the last episode as his coming is near.
