This is a northeast view of the house, with the enclosed veranda in the middle of the picture and the kitchen appendage to the left. One can just make out from this view where the original exit from the kitchen was covered over (above the crawl-space access). To the other side of the kitchen (out of view here), the bathroom addition's stuccoed exterior sticks out like a sore thumb. These clumsily-executed alterations have severely diminished the house's beauty of form from the rear.
