My name is Karl Stahmer. Thank you for visiting my website. I'm a Software Engineer in Berbee's E-Business Group. We are an Internet Service Provider that develops software and provides collocation for websites. I write Java servlets, C++ functions, JavaScript, and Perl programs.
Previously, I worked as a UNIX System Administrator with Wausau Insurance Companies and as a Senior Programmer Analyst in Cray Research, Inc.'s Diagnostics Department.
Mathematics was my undergraduate and graduate major at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. My primary interests are analysis, algebra, topology, and mathematical physics.
My activities include 10K and marathon running, rowing, swimming, biking, chess, bridge, and martial arts.
