(803) 417-3382 cell 24/7 Buccaneers Toys for Tots Ride contact SC Chapt. 1 November 11th The Veteran's Day ceremony at Mitchell Community College will be held next Wednesday, November the 11th at 1100 hours on the front lawn, moving inside in case of inclement weather. All of you who can do so are encouraged to meet at the Shell station at Exit 144 off of I-40 between 1015 and 1030. We will leave there at 1030 for the short ride to Mitchell College, planning to arrive there at 1045 hours. The route will be from the rally point south on Old Mountain Road to Highway 70, then east into Statesville and into Mitchell through the back parking lot, up into the front circle which will be reserved for us to park our motorcycles. Parking for cars will be available in the back parking lot if you need it, so you can follow the group there and drop off to park very near where we will be going. The ceremony usually takes 30 to 45 minutes, and is always followed by a "punch and cookies" reception in the student center, if you have time to stay for that. Please wear your vests, since this is another opportunity to publicize Rolling Thunder and our mission by supporting a patriotic community event. A terrific event and project for RTNC of course.
