Spring 2012 Roster Spots

US Junior National All-Stars
Frenzy players Kristen Ferola, Alyssa Darling, and Shannon Holt were named to the All Tournament team at the US Junior Nationals / U17 National Championships in Washington, DC.
The team finished with a 4-1 record in the event led by the dominant performances of these three players.
Lesure McDonald's All-American
Congratulations to Mariah Lesure on being nominated as a McDonalds All-American. The standout senior from Amherst, MA, who this year attended Tabor Academy, will be attending Division I Saint Josph's University in Philadelphia on a full athletic scholarship.

Collins hits 1,000 points!
Jazmine Collins (SABIS) reached the 1,000 point mark in her high school career in only her sophomore season. Jazmine hit the milestone in the Western Mass Championship game against eventual champion Lee.
Veit Sets Hartwick College Mark
Kait Veit (Frenzy Class of 2010) set the all-time record for three-pointers in a game at Hartwick College on November 20th at a game in Raleigh, North Carolina. Veit connected for 8 three-pointers in Hartwick's 77-56 win over Salem College. She finished 27 points and added 5 rebounds and three steals. in just her third collegiate game.

Mariah Lesure to St. Joseph's
We are proud to announce that Mariah Lesure has signed her Letter of Intent to accept a full scholarship to study and play basketball at DI school St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. SJU is a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. The entire Frenzy Family is very proud of Mariah!

Ally Mishol Stars Off the Court
Here is a link to a great story about a younger member of our Frenzy family. Ally Mishol of Longmeadow was recently the subject of a feature article on masslive.com regarding her baseball prowess. Nice to see her leading the way on the path less travelled.

Mass Frenzy Hall of Fame
On June 26th the Mass Frenzy organization inducted the first member of the Mass Frenzy Hall of Fame. Jenna Klaes (Frenzy Class of 2010) became the first player in Frenzy history to receive the honor. To go along with her induction, Jenna will also have her number 4 retired in recognition for her contributions to the Frenzy organization over her 6 year Frenzy career.
Jenna graduated from Amherst Regional High School and will be playing basketball at Wesleyan University this fall.
U13 & U15 State Champions
The Mass Frenzy organization proudly recognizes our U13 (Div. II) and U15 (Div. I) teams for capturing the Massachusetts State Championships at the State AAU Tournament in Foxboro. We are proud of both teams undefeated runs through the tournament on the way to to the championships.
The U16 team also finished 4th in the state tournament.


Caulfield To Hartwick College
Katrina Caulfield (Frenzy Class of 2009, U13 Asst. Coach) has officially chosen to attend Hartwick College to contionue her basketball career. She will join fellow Frenzy teammate Kait Veit at Hartwick as part of a very strong recruiting class.
Lesure #6 in the State
U16 team member Mariah Lesure from Amherst is ranked as the #6 player in the class of 2011 according to the New England Recruiting Report . The full story and ranking can be found by clicking here.
