Personal Information:

Honesty, Integrity and Promptness are my watchwords! I take pride in my work and endeavor to give the best possible service to my clients and customers at all times! I have been an elected member of the Spartanburg Board of Realtors since 1986. As a professional Realtor I am sworn to abide by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Code of Ethics. In addition, I am a Graduate of the Realtor Institute for which I carry the GRI professional designation. The Institute conducts comprehensive instruction in negotiation, appraisal, investment, financing, marketing, real estate construction, professional development and brokerage management. I am also an Accredited and Certified Buyer Representative (ABR & CBR professional designations).

Before entering the Real Estate profession, I had a long career in Secondary School teaching, having taught Biology and Chemistry for 30 years! Although I was born in Gary, Indiana, I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Berry College, Rome, Georgia, with undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistry. I received my Masters in Teaching Degree from Converse College, Spartanburg, SC, where I focused on a more intense study of plant structure and function, Botany. I have also attended Indiana University and Appalachian State University for a variety of courses.
Although I love all animals, I am what most people call a "cat person!" I have enjoyed having pet cats most of my life and require a certain amount of "fuzz therapy" daily! In addition to my pets, I enjoy reading mystery/suspense novels, factual

finance and medical literature, and decorating and cooking periodicals. I enjoy both flower and vegetable gardening. Former pastimes have included camping, hiking and sewing!

My husband and I enjoy carpentry, plumbing, painting, wallpapering and rewiring old houses! These mechanical skills and my teaching of energy conservation have afforded keen insights that are valuable to me in working with buyers and sellers. I understand the technical aspects of home ownership that concern both men and women!

When you hire me as your Real Estate Agent, I owe you duties similar to those of your attorney. You may expect undivided loyalty (even above loyalty to my own interests), obedience to your lawful requests, full disclosure of all pertinent facts, accountability, professional care and diligence during the transaction, and total confidentiality, even beyond the day of closing. It is said "once a Client, always a Client," therefore, confidential information must never be disclosed.

AS YOUR AGENT, for which a CONTRACT is required, YOU MAY RELY ON MY INTEGRITY to advise you and negotiate for you the best deal possible, given the conditions at the time the contract is written and brought to closing!
