Cotton Bowl Trading Cards
2000: When the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association was awarded
the prestigious Emery Award for contributions to the favorable
promotion of Dallas tourism, a 64-card set of collectible trading
cards was commissioned featuring the covers of all previous game
programs. Doherty wrote game summaries and anecdotes for the backs of
all cards.
