WELCOME to the South County Alano Club’s excursion into cyberspace! It is our hope that this web site will make the club more available to all of us who are looking for a safe, sober place to "hang out".
I want to thank Joe R. for his hard work and dedication to getting us online. I think you will agree that he has done a great job. As for me, I want to thank the Alano Club Board of Directors and all of you for giving me this opportunity to be of service to the fellowship. I am fortunate to be in a position where I am constantly exposed to other alcoholics in recovery. This really helps me focus on my own program.
We have a lot of new and exciting projects and events planned for the immediate future. These include resuming our Sunday Bingo games, a multi-group barbecue at the park next to the club, participation in the upcoming Strawberry Festival and a number of other events. Don’t forget the Sunday Breakfast Club. I know it has been sort of sporadic lately, but I am committed to cooking for you EVERY Sunday from now on (yes, I can cook). Come down to the club and get a good cooked-to-order breakfast at a reasonable price. Breakfast is served from 8 AM until Noon each Sunday.

With the upcoming expansion of our facility, we are looking for persons with construction experience to help with the remodel. Contact me through this site or by calling 481-6605.
