Oct 1- Nov 28 9-4:30 pm - The Ned - My Favorite Things by Floyd Speck - This exhibit
consists of works done entirely in watercolor or watercolor mixed with other media. As
the title suggests, the works feature subjects that are favorites of the artist and are primarily
landscapes and florals. Speck's works are rich with texture and implied detail and frequently
feature layers of color applied with sponge, spatter, and stipple to create a tapestry-like effect.
Oct 1- Nov 28 9-4:30 pm - The Ned - Color of Fall - Works of Art in brilliant splashes of color using oils,
watercolor, acrylic & pastels feature fall flowers and foliage designs.
Oct 15-30 - Everett Horn Public Library, Lexington - Exhibit of framed art by Henderson County
artists. Call 968-3239 to register your artwork.
