Thanks to my Great Grandpa Harry, my Mom & Dad enrolled me in Washington State's Guaranteed Education Tuition™ or GET Program. In short, GET is a program that allows families to purchase college tuition units today for their children’s future higher education.

Family members or friends wishing to contribute to my college fund as a gift may do so directly to my GET account. This way Mom or Dad won't intercept the money and blow it on themselves!

You don't have to purchase an entire tuition unit (currently $57 per unit). Smaller amounts can be deposited and the total tuition units will be adjusted accordingly. Once your gift is received by the GET Program, you and my Mom & Dad will be sent a gift acknowledgment letter.

Soon, payments and gifts to my GET account may be done on-line. For now, it will have to be done via snail mail. Here are directions on how to do it.

To make a donation to my GET account via the mail, follow these steps:

1. Print this Payment/Gift Coupon with your browser's print function.
2. Fill out the "Giftor" information on the left hand side of the form.
3. Put the "Date" on the right hand side of the form under the account number.
4. Enter a dollar amount in "Additional Lump-Sum Units Purchase" field.
5. Write the same amount in the "Total Amount Paid" field.
6. Mail check and coupon to "GET, PO BOX 84824, SEATTLE, WA 98124-6124".

I would like to thank anybody who sends me a college donation gift. When I'm a CEO of a Fortune 500 corporation, I will definitely keep you in mind!

If you have further questions regarding the GET Program, check out the GET Program FAQ's page, and the Get Program Tax Benefits page.
