I have managed to spend considerable time enjoying myself buried in books, watching movies and listening to tales told of things that go bump in the night almost my entire life. I enjoy the likes of Hitchcock, King, Butcher, Hamilton, and Rice. More recently I discovered one particular writer who not only presented me with a point of view in her fiction that I found refreshing, but she showed me how to look at familiar things with a different point of view. And I found that her way of presenting that view was always full of intrigue and entertainment. Her name is Kelley Armstrong and she is in the process of adding yet more titles to her already popular series "Women Of The Otherworld." I would like to quote something she posted on her web site, which to me is a powerful reminder to support those who struggle to entertain us and those like myself who try to learn from them as we try our hands at their craft.
"If we, citizens, do not support our artists, then we sacrifice our imagination on the
crude altar of reality and we end up believing in nothing and having worthless dreams."
The following fiction is intended for mature readers. Please be aware that you are about to read stories written by a novice about things experts have developed. Please visit Kelley Armstrong's web site if you get a chance. You will get hooked...
I hope you enjoy the following. If not, I won't be offended. Thank you,
