The filoplume mayfly is an excellent fly for selective trout in slow
water. The filoplume takes on a life of its own in the water. I like to
use this fly for wild trout on the Conasauga river inside the wilderness
area. It can be dead drifted or add a little twitch. If you are getting
a lot of refusals give this fly a try.
