How To Fish

This fly is kind of a hybrid between a streamer and the Wooly Booger. This is a great muddy water fly also. Fish this fly along the rivers edge, especially along logs and snags where the Browns like to hang out. In fast water, toss accross the current and let your line drift downstream momentarily then begin to strip in the line. Be ready for a hit just as the fly turns upstream. In deeper water let the fly sink for several seconds then begin your strip. Combine also with a nymph dropper, such as a GRHE or Prince Nymph.

This is a heavy fly so don't wait too long to start your strip retrieve especially in shallow water! This fly will of course catch other trout but is especially good on Browns!
