TEAM RECORD BY YEAR—COACH—ALL CONFERENCE PLAYERS– PLACE IN CONFERENCE |
|
The following all-time hockey records were provided by Pete Mohs, who does color commentary for radio broadcasts of Warrior hockey. Mohs took over a small notebook of scores from Jim Wallace, a long-time sports editor of the Brainerd Dispatch. Wallace, who had kept the scores in the notebook since the varsity program began in 1971, passed the notebook on to Mohs, who joined the Dispatch sports staff when Wallace retired in 1984. The notebook, with the only documented records of Warrior hockey history, was actually lost outside the arena in Roseau after a Warrior game in the late 1980s. Mohs called the Roseau rink and to his surprise, someone found the notebook in the snow and mailed it back to The Dispatch. It wasn't long after that incident that Mohs typed the all-time scores on the computer where they would be safe. And now, the scores are available for the public on this website.
