| Our Story Ryan was born and raised a landscaper by his father Robert Kleefisch owner of Good Earth Landscape in Ventura California, Graduating From High School he decided that working outdoors with people, building, designing and creating is what felt natural, In 1996 Ryan enrolled at Ventura College into the Horticultural-Construction programs, Don Rodriquez a horticulture professor in Ventura college was the same professor who taught his father 25 years prior, Working with his father in Ventura he built countless Landscaping, Concrete and Masonry projects as well as supervised the maintenance acounts, Following his footsteps Ryan's hands on and knowledge of the industry began to grow. In 2006 Ryan was the first to pass his C27-Landscape Contractors test, and in the following year was also one of the first to pass his C29-Masonry and C8-Concrete Exams. Often on most weekends Ryan would head up to San Luis Obispo county visiting the endless wineries, and Lake Nacimiento, there he found this area to be a hidden gem and quickly discovered that this was a place to live and bring his Southern California Landscape Construction techniques . Owner of Custom Works Landscape Ryan uses creativity with masonry, concrete and plants, he often includes specimen plants not often used or forgotten to the industry. Ryan continues to work with his father and enjoys talking industry as well as trading new construction techniques. Ryan's plan is to once again combine his talents into a larger company serving San Luis Obispo south to Ventura County in the near future. |
