For the past 29 years Sandy has been employed by IBM with a career in the consulting and systems integrations business. As a consultant for IBM, Sandra has worked at over 40 different companies in six different states, doing a variety of tasks including: installing software, designing and developing applications and systems, training, contract writing and project management.

The last 9 years she has been a manager of up to 150 consultants in 27 different states. Her job is to match the consultants, based on skills, availability and location with the needs of the contracts sold to different customers. The primary focus of these contracts is imaging, records management and document and content management.

The organization functions on the basis of matrix management. This team approach to management means that she has direct input into the decision making as to how the $50 Million yearly budget is spent.
