Hillcrest Sewer District

• Key member of team to activate the district - She got involved early in the process, did research and took the actions required to ensure that the district was establish legally.
• Instrumental in getting the boundaries of the district expanded so that additional neighborhoods could benefit from the new sewers.
• Key member of the team that obtained the $1.8 Million Federal Grant to help pay over a third of the construction costs.
• District Clerk for 9 years

Hillcrest Country Club

• Member of the committee to purchase the Golf Course and the sub-committee that obtained the $500,000 grant.
• Current member of the Long Range Planning Committee - Sandra would like to see this committee be much more active. As Selectman she could help ensure that committee decisions would be in the best interests of the town and its residents.
• Strongly believes we have to continue to protect the Henshaw Pond as a water source for the town and preserve this open space for town use.
