I have been making jewelry from gold
filled and sterling Silver wire for around 27 years. It is an
activity in which I take great joy, and I love it when someone buys one
of my items and I see them wearing it. This, to me is the ultimate
compliment.
Most of my designs are rather simple, since I like to give people a
pretty item at an affordable price. A few of the designs are mine, but
many are from books, or from my old teacher Mike Lane, a man originally
from Alaska, but who ended up in Black Mountain NC. He taught me a lot,
not just jewelry design.
Earrings
My most favorite things to make, and the most popular are earrings. All
of my earrings are made with sterling silver or gold filled wire
(occasionally copper), and feature semiprecious stones, minerals, or
art glass, and occasionally other materials. These are some inexpensive
earrings in various styles, suitable for most any occasion.
These are my moderately priced earrings. More expensive choices, more
involved designs and often more expensive metal - gold filled instead
of sterling silver - are on the next display.
Necklace and earring sets are a collaberation between myself and my
lovely and talented wife Suzanne. Here are a few.
