Featured with my research collegues on Fox Family. Investigated a house that was alleged to be haunted.

About Me

My real name is Baron Paul Ayran... born and raised in USA. My family is originally from the Philippines. My father named me "Baron" because he wanted me to become a man of dignity, wealth and respect. Like any child growing up, I overcame obstacles. The hardest one to overcome was bigotry. But, the kids that used to tease me for being different are now my good friends. I've won many friends as a result of respect, kindness and an unwillingness to tolerate any behavior short of civilized.

I spent my childhood very active in sports. I took Hapkido/Tang Soo Do lessons, played soccer, baseball, basketball and (later in high school) track. I met the lady of my life in high school. She went to State in track (Spring 94) running the 200m sprint and shared captain honors with me and my friend Darryl. The pinnacle of my sporting career was my last game of organized soccer - State Finals 1994, where we placed second.

Music is a passion of mine. I enjoys all types from Metal to Jazz and yes, even Country. In my brief music career, I belonged to talented heavy/alternative groups - Grimis, Henge and Promonition. My weapon of choice was the bass, but it was for a time the guitar. I later picked up drums and piano. I hope to persue perfecting the piano later in life.

Who would have known an HTML lesson, a good friend and an old 486 computer would be the launching pad into the vast information technology abyss??? I have spent more than 5 years tinkering with the PC. I've set up my own networks and servers, written my own computer programs and designed my own web sites.

Currently, I attend Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. I am working towards a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Management Information Systems. After struggling with life decisions in the past, I am now motivated more than I ever have been because I have found a challenge greater than myself... I am doing things I never thought I could do, learning things I never thought I would be able to comprehend. Every semester I offer to teach a class in "Basic Web Page Design" at Southwestern Illinois College and mentor children on probation in Madison County.
