Dear Parent,

Thank you for your interest in Piedmont Christian Academy. The intent of this letter is to acquaint you with

SCHOOL OF TOMORROW, (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum and to answer questions you may have about our school.

Piedmont Christian Academy was established in the fall of 1989 as a center for quality Christian education in grades K-4 through 12. We strive for excellence in all areas of student development with a major emphasis on Christian character and high academic standards. Graduates of this program can go on to be productive citizens in all walks of life. We utilize the School of Tomorrow (A.C.E) curriculum, which has a proven record of success both with highly motivated or gifted students who need challenging learning experiences, as well as with slow starters and day dreamers who need to be challenged to perform.

Upon registration, each student is diagnosed, through a series of tests, to determine his level of performance. Then with individualized instruction, he progresses through PACE'S (Packets of Accelerated Christian Education) at his own rate. Each grade level (credit) consists of twelve booklets (paces) in which the student reads the material, answers question, reviews, and then tests. The core curriculum consists of six major subjects: Math, English, Word Building (Spelling), Social Studies, Science,and Bible.. There are many electives from which to choose, such as Computer Literacy, Physics, Economics, Foreign Languages, and Typing just to name a few. Supervisors (Teachers) in the Learning Center (classroom) guide the students through reward and motivation to reach their highest potential.

Piedmont Christian Academy is first and foremost a Christian School. We have prayer and Bible reading every day and our studies are from a Biblical perspective. We teach "In the beginning God…" unashamedly and although we do not stress any particular church doctrine, we are decidedly Christian in all aspects.

All our teachers are highly qualified through special School Of Tomorrow training. While we do not seek accreditation from a non Christian agency, we have received a Quality Accreditation Status from the School Of Tomorrow program, and always seek to provide the highest possible academic achievements in all aeries.
