- Studied operating processes and applied tools and techniques of Lean Six Sigma to develop operating improvements yielding roughly $1,300,000 in annualized savings

- Led EPRI technology benchmarking project that improved Alliant Energy’s ability to gain value from technology investments by learning from top companies in other industries
- Represented the company as a member of the Downtown Rotary Club of Madison
- Served as Treasurer of the First Unitarian Society since 1984 and led Board financial activities while the organization has grown from a membership of 400 to over 1,400 members
