Background Information

Stellar Dalmatians was started when we purchased our first Dalmatian as a pet/show dog from Bill Werning from a litter bred with Norma Bailey.  "Nicky" did not turn out to be a show dog, but was pretty good in Obedience and Therapy work and made a great demonstration dog for the obedience classes Lynette taught.  He also did many obedience demonstrations at schools, day cares and nursing homes.  We continued to try to find the right show dog. For John we needed a smart dog that would also be good for Obedience work. So we tried to find the right combination in one dog. We then purchased "Kate" again not a show dog but a wonderful companion and certified Therapy Dog. Then came "Sneakers" now (UKC/Am/Can CH Dakota Madurhason Incognito CGC TDI) from John and Kris Benoit co-bred with Anne Fleming, she proved herself to be the show dog we wanted. She was also a certified Therapy Dog.  Sneakers left us for the Rainbow Bridge in January of 2005.  She had survived 3 bouts of Cancer previously.  Her time with us was far too short.  Next came "Blaise" (UKC/Am/Can CH Premier Madurhason Dakota Comet CGC TDI) from Suzy and Gene Bethards co-bred with Anne Fleming and Kris Benoit.  Blaise is every bit the show dog he simply enjoys the attention of the show ring, he also enjoys doing his therapy visits.  From Sneaker's first litter we obtained "Sabrina" (Stellar Dakota Hocus Pocus), this was a co-bred litter with John & Kris Benoit.  Showing was not meant to be for Sabrina, so she moved on.  "Halley" (UKC Ch Stellar Once in a Lifetime Comet) daughter to Sneakers and Blaise, truly our first home bred Dal.   In 2002 we added "Whiskey" (UKC Ch HatTrick's Makers Mark, CGC).  Joining us in 2004 is "Cruise" (UKC/Am/Can CH Satin N Snow Hill's Good T' Go) at age 15 months he finished his AKC Championship and by 18 months was a multiple group winner and placer.  Puppy Group winner his first time in Canada.  We are so very proud of our young man.  Also joining us in 2004 "Toffee" (CH Amera-N-Ravin's Kaleidescope) she started her show career the end of January 2005 and in 5 show weekends won a two point Winners Bitch award, then won 4 Majors (a 3 point, 2 - 4 point, and a 5 point)  three of these major wins were at Specialties, the other on a Specialty weekend.  Toffee was bred to "Angus" BIS/BISS World, American, Canadian, Brazilian Panamerican, Uruguayan, Internationl Ch Prince Harts (#1 Stud Dog 2004).  From our 2005 Angus x Toffee litter we have kept a wonderful liver girl "TNT" (Stellar N TBGO Kissin Dynamite) and one of her liver brothers "Gotti" (Stellar Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap).  TNT was one of the tops in her puppy kindergarten class and John took his first shot at training a pup and taught Gotti in 5 minutes how to sit and down on command, we have high hopes for this pair of pups.

All of our dogs are Obedience trained, Therapy Dog Certified and have the following health clearance tests; BAER, CERF and OFA.  We will now be starting to PennHIP our dogs.
