About me:
As a phycologist with a paleobotany background, my interests include the evolution of
photosynthetic organisms, particularly green algae, how we can best recognize species, and the
evolution of land plants from their green algal ancestors. I am fascinated by the biodiversity of
photosynthetic eukaryotes and the mechanisms by which they have achieved this diversity.
